Battlefield 5 no longer has duos
Citing low player count and interest DICE has removed the ability to play Battlefield 5’s battle royal mode in groups of two. According to a PC Gamer per a post n Reddit the mode may return on weekends or for special events.
Wiggin’s thoughts on the subject: I was slightly interested in Firestorm around the time of release of the mode but was quite disappointed that it was not an option at launch. I wasn’t a fan of solo battle royal mode and finding enough friends that had already bought Battlefield V was a bit tricky. I enjoyed the ability to just need one friend in order to jump into a game with a chance of actually doing half way decent. It’s quite disappointing to hear that this mode will be removed as it was really the only way I was enjoying Firestorm. Hopefully DICE rethinks its stance on this but if the player base isn’t there for it then it’s understandable.
