About Love, Hate, and the other ones is a casual puzzle game where “you influence your surroundings by the force of hate and the power of Love”.

The puzzle game by Black Pants Studio focuses on moving “lazy” blobs where you need to by using Love and Hate.

The object of the game is to have Love and/or Hate reach the box with the red button on the level. This is done by maneuvering Love and Hate through obstacles and lazy blobs.

The lazy blobs do not move on their own and need a little convincing from the main characters Love and Hate. Hate whispers “I hate you” and forces the blobs away. Love professes his love for the blobs and draws them closer.

Like most puzzle games, the levels get harder as the player progresses. More emphasis gets put into figuring out if Love or Hate is better for for clearing or maneuvering through a certain area.

The downfall of the game is the ability to undo every move to the initial start point. This seemed to take away a little of the challenge. There is no limit to the amount of times the undo function can be used.

About Love, Hate, and the other ones is a cute game. The graphics are pleasant and distinctive in their own way. The sound is fitting for the game. It is a unique puzzle game and worth picking up.
